Diamont has a very impressive offer list. This line from 247 sports announcing his commitment will keep me from celebrating until he signs.

Going in to his recent unofficial visit, Diamont said he wasn’t planning to make such a quick commitment but everything just fell in to place for him that way.

Verbal #6: Safety Isaiah Fisher-Smith from Greensboro, NC (Page HS)

Fisher-Smith had offers from Carolina, Wake Forest and ECU so it is nice to beat out those guys for an In State prospect.

Verbal #8: Michael Reese (6'3" 270) Defensive Tackle, Antioch TN.

Both guys are ranked 3* by ESPN and had multiple P5 offers.

In a press conference, Coach Cutcliffe said that "this is the best tackling group that I've signed."

It is possible Duke adds a couple more to the class in February. OL and DB are the targeted positions. One specific name is OL Addison Penn who was a BC verbal but he didn’t sign yesterday.

Add safety J’Marick Woods to the list. Woods is a grad transfer from Michigan who can play immediately. He has good size at 6’3” 210. He was a 4 star recruit coming out of high school and had a Duke offer.
