I'm resurrecting this thread because I had a sleep study last night. At 12:45 am, the technician came bursting into the room and said, "We're discontinuing the sleep study and proceeding straight to the CPAP fitting and calibration." He slapped that CPAP mask on my face and then wished me a good night's sleep (again)! I had wires taped all over my head and body. This morning when I woke up, the sleep technician had already prepared the order for my very own CPAP machine. Bonus points for me: I don't need to return for a follow-up appointment next week because I failed the sleep test so miserably.

Also, when you fail the sleep test, they remove the annoying cannula from your nose. More bonus points!

What’s a cannula? And yes, I slept much better when Beth got her CPAP years ago \:d/ ;) :9f:

That 2-pronged tube thing that sticks in your nostrils.
