I'm back from two weeks in France and from a week at North Carolina Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. I took over 4000 pictures in France, and I got elected as a jurisdictional conference delegate for 2020 (which means that I get to go to Lake Junaluska, eat lots of ice cream, and elect bishops next summer).
I’m actually at Lake Junaluska at this very moment, watching clouds thud by. I have suggestions for ice cream and restaurants here!

Good morning from Lake Junaluska, NC.
The Rev LG and a ton of his closest friends and associates are attending Annual Conference for the Western North Carolina Conference of the UMC. I am sitting in a chair taking it easy, hanging out with a friend and trying hard to forget about work.

I'm all ears! I think we're going to rent an AirB&B for SEJ Conference next summer unless you have better suggestions about accommodations.lawgrad91 wrote: ↑June 20th, 2019, 10:40 amWoooo!CathyCA wrote: ↑June 19th, 2019, 8:23 amGood morning!

I'm interested in how your delegation swings.

Good morning all! Been a while since I checked in! Sounds like all are busy, busy, busy. Keeping an eye on the CWS as Vandy is hoping to take it all! That would be a real feather for Duke whose loss was to Vandy! Let's go Commodores!
Congrats to Cathy on her election. I am clueless what she will be doing but it sounds very important and we all know she will make a difference! Go Cathy!

Good morning. It’s good to be home. I spent the last week traveling eastern nc for business, leaving Sunday night and got home last night. Best thing is the kids will be here today for a couple of hours, stopping for a travel break as they head home from Montreat (near Asheville)!

Good morning.
Tonight is STEMS, a garden party fundraiser at the arboretum. Hoping the storms predicted for this evening don't happen.
