I just got an email from Coach (the purse people, not Cut or K) because my wife signed up for their mailing list cause they just opened an outlet in our local mall. Anyway, I was guffawing at the price of the ugly new sandals they just came out with, and she told me to Google "expensive purses". Check this out:

There's a purse in there that costs $1.9M. In today's real estate market, I could buy my house 8 times over for that.

My father would say that people that buy those have more dollars than cents (sense).

I don't own any purses nor do I ever intend to. I do have a saddle bag though.

If I'm going to spend that kind of money, I'm going to spend it on a car.
A good purse should cost between $300 and $750, max. If you've got to spend more money than that, you can find knock-offs. They won't last as long, but you can buy more of them and replace them when they wear out.

Nope, still not going to get a purse. Now, I don't mind holding one if necessary.
