Good "Game Day" morning. Go Duke! Beat UCF!!

Baseball vs Wake Forest at 1:00 pm. It is the rubber match for the series as Wake won yesterday 9-8.

Lacrosse at Syracuse at 2:00 pm on ESPNU. This game has been moved outdoors to a high school field due to Syracuse hosting a women's tournament game in the Carrier Dome so hopefully ESPNU will still be able to set up and broadcast.

I was at a Lenten service last night. The Rev LG spoke. Thanks a ton to AD, who texted me when I couldn't watch. I did get to celebrate with Duke grandparents.

Our DVR stopped as Tacko walked off the court with his fifth foul, just before Zion's FT/RJ's tip in.

Good moring! I'm glad that we won, and I'm sad that my Duke friends Johnny Dawkins and Vince Taylor lost last night. Their UCF team was amazing! Kudos to Aubrey Dawkins for his magnificent game last night.

Always always always set your DVR to record 30 to 60 minutes extended end time to account for overtimes, instant replay reviews or other extenuating circumstances! Also, when recording programs after an afternoon sporting event (like NFL football, baseball, basketball or golf), like CBS's programming last night, extend the end time of each program, or if several in a row, the last program you're recording, and if the network time-shifts your program into the wee hours of the morning, like "starting at 1:37 a.m.", extend that end time to account for everything being delayed by the sports program's overruns. Smart DVR users are happy DVR users!

It's set to record everything Duke automatically, which I like. I do need to fix the time it records, though.
