Yea, my kids can read my stuff, in about a decade! ;) I write classic fantasy... dragons, wizards, knights, quests, you know the bit. My new book is a series about a mythological creature living in the modern world. Kind of like Jim Butcher's Harry Dresden novels, except my guy isn't a wizard, and he lives in the D.C. area instead of Chicago. So, it's kind of like fantasy in today's world.

My dad used to kid me about that growing up.

As I've gotten older, I've come up with jokes about my name, a lot of jokes. My dad, after hearing a whole slew of them, said that had he known how much fun I would poke at my name he wouldn't have named me "Honor". I told him he was incredibly short sighted (well, he is 5'6) and should have known that considering the stock I was coming from, I would have created all the jokes. He really hates it when I bring stuff like that up and it bites him in the arse.

Honor, I've told you what the boys called me, right? If I haven't, just think of my last name, then make the most sophomoric sex joke you can out of it. Yep, that was my nickname from 7th grade until graduating from Duke. Shamm however thought of a new one recently. I have to give him credit because he was the first to ever call me that. Scrabble strikes again! (He made an anagram.)
