I'm quite the opposite. I like mine over easy...running all over the plate so I can sop the yolk up with a biscuit or toast.DukeUsul wrote:I've always refused to eat eggs if the yolk runs at all. Scrambled or omelet for me. Love me some quiche and fritatta as well.
How could I have forgotten those? I could subsist on deviled eggs alone.Devil in the Blue Dress wrote:Deviled eggs belong at every tailgate party.
I still don't like deviled eggs.wilson wrote:How could I have forgotten those? I could subsist on deviled eggs alone.Devil in the Blue Dress wrote:Deviled eggs belong at every tailgate party.
Would a little Bud Lite or pastrami help them?OZZIE4DUKE wrote:I still don't like deviled eggs.wilson wrote:How could I have forgotten those? I could subsist on deviled eggs alone.Devil in the Blue Dress wrote:Deviled eggs belong at every tailgate party.

You've never had my wife's deviled eggs. I HATE deviled eggs in general, but I like hers. My father, who is a deviled egg fanatic, says they're the best he's ever had. He INSISTS that my wife bring them to ANY family function, and then he eats every one he can get his grubby little paws on. He ate a dozen (eggs' worth, so 24 really) at one sitting once. He diets to save up his cholesterol ration for a week any time he knows she's making them so he can go wild on 'em when they come.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:I still don't like deviled eggs.wilson wrote:How could I have forgotten those? I'll discuss that with you on Saturday... :roll:bjornolf wrote:I don't know what coddled is. I like mine scrambled, in an omelet, hard boiled, and deviled. Not a big fan of egg salad though. However, my FAVORITE type of egg is over hard with the yolk broken cooked in the grease left from the pound of bacon I just fried. ;)
cheese and bacon omleete is my favorite...and I'm grateful for the gene pool that keeps my cholesterol crazy low while indulging!devildeac wrote:in somebody else's arteries...
with cheese...
and ham, bacon or sausage...
scrambled, omeletted or poached/Benedicted
(but not very often)
So if you're eating at Sami's on Saturday with DD I would guess that you'd prefer Smithfield's BBQ for lunch on Friday?devildeac wrote:I'll discuss that with you on Saturday... :roll:bjornolf wrote:I don't know what coddled is. Over our cheese steak...
Miracle Whip? Shame on you Ozzie! I had you pegged as Duke's man.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:I don't like deviled eggs. I do like egg salad, but DON'T put any mustard in it. Miracle Whip or mayo, and a little bit of sour cream gives it a nice sweet zip (sour cream was my mother's secret ingredient!)bjornolf wrote:Um, that's why I included it in MY list. ;)CameronBornAndBred wrote:I was just thinking...HOW COULD DEVILED BE LEFT OFF OF THIS POLL??!!!!!
I love me some deviled eggs. Especially at a brunchgate.
If that's okay with you? I've been salivating over some pulled since we made this plan. ;)OZZIE4DUKE wrote:So if you're eating at Sami's on Saturday with DD I would guess that you'd prefer Smithfield's BBQ for lunch on Friday?devildeac wrote:I'll discuss that with you on Saturday... :roll:bjornolf wrote:I don't know what coddled is. That's fine with me. Call me when you are passing Rocky Mount (exit 145). That will give me 45 minutes notice.bjornolf wrote:If that's okay with you? I'm going to the Waffle House. Been cravin' some scattered, smothered, topped (w/Bert's chili), and peppered. The perfect complement to it will be: scrambled eggs.Bostondevil wrote:I had scrambled eggs for breakfast this morning. I make good scrambled eggs. At least I like 'em.
