I haven't had a chance to dig into it yet. (All my spare hours have been spent on manual labor.)
I will be looking into it soon; I need to make sure I have a couple hours set aside to do it. Not expecting it to be an easy fix, but of course it would be nice if it is.

I have figured out a temporary fix. When you go to the front page on your phone, you are automatically sent to the mobile site. At the bottom of the page, you have two choices: "mobile" or "web." Click on "web" and you are good to go.

My Chrome browser on my tablet has a setting for request desktop site. Checking that option appears to have resolved the issue for me.
