Deon Jackson tweeted earlier today that he is solid to Duke. Ten days to National Signing Day.

Defensive lineman Victor Dimukeje has committed to Duke! He has 37 offers including 13 or 14 P5 schools including a late offer from Notre Dame. Most sites list him as a DE but ESPN lists him as a DT. This is a big get.

WR Damond Johnson received an offer from Ohio State but he is reportedly sticking with Duke. Johnson reportedly has world class speed...4.3 second 40 yard dash.

Finally, I'm not sure which one yet but one of our DT recruits (Tangelo or Nyembwe) is flipping to Rutgers.

All NLIs have been received. Nobody flipped to Rutgers so that information turned out to be wrong (I'll give myself 10 lashes with a wet noodle). A couple of more tidbits of info:

1. A third Preferred Walk On kicker, Matthew Cone, has committed. Lots of competition in the kicking department.

2. I've heard the class also includes a Preferred Walk On quarterback but I don't have a name or any information.

Not directly Duke related, but Scottie Montgomery picked up perhaps his biggest recruit in 4 star (or 3, depending...but some do have him as 4) QB Holton Ahlers. Duke has looked at him from what I can tell, but not offered.
Being from Greenville, he's a home grown recruit, but still a nice get for Coach Mo.
