Good morning!

I have great friends. I've been having a hard time getting into the Christmas spirit since we found out that Sister Sue and family will not be coming afterall. (For a good reason - Nephew Sam can come home since home is within 250 miles of base. ) Two memorial services this week haven't helped. I've pulled out Wilson's Christmas picture, which helps. Today, a friend is letting me share Christmas cookies with her as she has been busy with the Christmas programs at church. That makes me happy.

Good morning. I also have a lot to do. I got up at 5:30. I'm putting a chicken gumbo together this morning, hopefully will be headed to Emerald Isle to pick up a bushel of crabs. I have them on order but this has not been a good year for crabs because of the hurricane.
