Thankfully our team dug deep and walked out of South Bend with a very important win, which not only strengthens our schedule, but also hopefully fires up some fading interest from our fan base. (Not our tailgate crowd, but the fans that haven't been coming to the games this year.)
Since it is an kickoff, TBCC will be firing up a classic Brunchgate, menu being finalized today. Until the M&A is posted this evening, share your thoughts of whimsy here!
Weather is looking beautiful for Cavalier crushing.

Duke born, Duke bred, cooking on a grill so I'm tailgate fed.

I had a Crazie dream last night. I dreamed that in order to arrive at this Saturday's tailgate on time, I spent the night on campus. I had a bunk bed on the top floor of Wannamaker dorm. DukePA was my roommate! Several other CTNers were staying in the dorm, too. As I was getting ready to leave the dorm to go over to the tailgate, I realized that I had left my mom's parking pass and our game tix in my car, which was parked on the other side of the Duke Chapel, which in my dream was a multi-domed cathedral. I had planned to hand the parking pass to Jon when he drove by Wannamaker on his drive to campus on Saturday morning, but when I went to my car to grab the parking pass, "they" had changed the campus around so much that I couldn't find my way back to Wannamaker or the Card Gym lot. Donna and I had to go through a maze, including a staircase which included stairs which were four feet tall--sort of like a video game. I was so frustrated!
I guess there are some kernels of truth in this dream and this was my mind's way of de-fragging!

The weird dreams? Oh, no! I have them all the time. This one just happened to be about Saturday's tailgate.

I'll have Joy's ticket available for re-sale. Face value of $15, of course.

One of the football players at Louisburg College may want it. I'm waiting to here from him.

I am in need - and if available will happily take it!

The weather is supposed to be really beautiful tomorrow, with no threat of rain, so we are going to leave the top level tent in storage at Chez TNT. Your french toast casserole and egg strata my have its flavor profile enhanced by a falling acorn or two.
