Duke @ NW, 8:00 PM KO, Big Ten Network
Just call this one the hunger game...both teams are coming off losses. If NW loses, their post season hopes are probably in the tank; if Duke loses there is still hope, but not much. Who is hungrier?
My guess is this is a game that Duke looked past Wake for, and paid the price. Does it at least that look ahead pay off in the end? Hope so.

Vegas odds have NW as a 6.5 points favorite with the over/under set at 44.5 points.

This is a game I have no idea what to expect, which makes it fun. We COULD win, we COULD lose, and it COULD be close or ugly either way.
Being that this is a game I think we looked past Wake for and paid the consequences, I hope we come out and make an early impact statement that our previous game was an aberration in our season.

My expectation is Duke will open up the offense. Northwestern has serious health issues in the secondary. A starting cornerback is out with concussion like symptoms and a starting safety, who is the 3rd cornerback in the nickel defense, is also out. Duke needs to attack this weakness.
I always say run to set up the pass. Tomorrow night, due to Northwestern's secondary issues, I expect us to pass to set up the run. Once the defense moves players out of the box to help with pass coverage, Duncan and Wilson will have room to run.
Will Scott Bracey play? If he is healthy, I look forward to seeing his debut.

We've GOT to stop the turnovers. I actually liked how we played last night, and for the most part I liked the play calling. I do feel that in the second half the calls became more conservative, but even so, we had some beautiful drives that got negated by big turnovers. Obviously we can't count on our kicking game, so that means we have to get into the endzone. Hard to do that if you cough up the ball.
