Good morning at a reasonable hour! ~O) :9f:

I have a busy day ahead. My desktop computer died yesterday. 5/6/2009-8/20/2016. Almost all the files are backed up on iDrive. I didn't know yesterday was going to be the day, but I knew it was close. So I'd been looking around at replacements. Went to Costco, Sams Club, HH Gregg and Best Buy, and found an Asus machine to my specs one penny under my target price so I brought it home. Today I'll take it out of the box and get it loaded up and running. Might take a few hours to download my files from iDrive, probably over night.

Of course, in today's adds Office Depot has a Lenovo model with 4GB more ram (12 vs 8 GB) for $50 less. Same i5 processor and 1TB hard drive. I might swap machines before I unbox the one I bought... Or not. :Think:

I kept the Asus and I have successfully loaded the necessary programs and restored all my files from the iDrive cloud! :happy-bouncyblue: So far, I am one happy camper! :9f:

I haven't looked recently to see what my check would be if I pulled the plug in January. Maybe it's time to check. The stress level in this place is making me think seriously I won't live until 60.

Definitely, check it out. You need to live way beyond 60.
