I hope you showered and disinfected after wading over to Idiot Central. What a bunch of @#$%ing morons.

I actually did read a quote from Cut in the News and Observer this am where he said, "I know you're not supposed to criticize the officials but I'm going to criticize the officials." Considering the circumstances, he might have a little longer leash on this one. He also said, "We have replay because we're supposed to get things right. We still didn't get it right."

(I've paraphrased his quotes but I think I'm pretty close to what he said.)

I had a class this morning and when I walked in the room, two of the people there (one a UK fan) said, "y'all got screwed this weekend."

One person said it made her happy. Chipslate or TigerDevil, if you all see this, and you need to subpoena S. Helbert from Public Safety, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES RELEASE HER FROM SUBPOENA.

I think she just invited herself to my next jury trial. :9f:

On Sportscenter this morning, Scott Van Pelt, of whom I'm I huge fan, gave a very good speech during "one big thing" about why the ACC should have the intestinal fortitude and intelligence to overturn the outcome of the Duke v. Miami game. It... was... awesome.

Grant and Danny, one of my favorite radio shows here in dc on 106.7, argued the same thing for about half an hour.

Hmmm, when I clicked on that link OY, the following came up:

"CONTENT UNAVAILABLE

Can't imagine what higher up at espn might have been responsible for that...

Pathetic and amusing:

Dan Wetzel tweet:

ACC names Miami's Corn Elder its "Specialist of the Week" for kickoff return TD against Duke. He edged out replay official Andrew Panucci.

Astounding that the media would vote this way and then the shitforbrains acc office would actually make this award and announcement, essentially rubbing Duke fans' noses in the excrement that their incompetent and dishonest officiating crew made possible on a play after the game was/should have been over.
