According to some twittering, this one's going to the ACC office. Can someone post a link to the Cut presser after the game. Reports are he was rather unhappy/politely disgusted and criticized the refs. Probably get fined for telling the truth.

Knee was down. Game was over then. It's not even close. Missed blocks in the back, picking up penalty flags, reviewing penalties that are NOT reviewable, forward laterals, 12th man on the field. It's all irrelevant. Game was over with that tackle.

According the the Fox Sports (NFL) rules specialist, that would be labeled a dead ball foul and be assessed after the play. Don't ask me to explain how the 12th man on the field during a live play would be considered a dead ball foul. That was his explanation. He was pretty adamant that Duke got hosed on 2 major accounts:

1. The penalty flag for block in the back is NOT reviewable.

2. The knee was down.
