A brilliant gentleman representing himself in traffic court just made the argument that because the trooper testified that she originally clocked him at 68/55 but wrote him for 65/55 (thus dropping him out of any insurance fuss in VA) he should be found not guilty.
The mean, bitchy Commonwealth Attorney asked the Judge to amend the charge to 68, to make defendant happy. He didn't, but gave him a healthy fine.

Today is Bud's 76th birthday. We're at our lake place and have been since Thursday. We have had lots of rain but not continuously. We have had a nice time. Great place to spend birthdays. Going home tomorrow.
