So far...knock on wood....the weather looks much more pleasant for the GT came than the cooker we just suffered for Northwestern. Watching the play calling was bad enough, the heat was insult added to injury!
Still expecting an excellent crowd, full of Blue Devils and Yellow Jackets. Maybe the yellow jackets will go pester a GT tailgate out of loyalty.

Duke born, Duke bred, cooking on a grill so I'm tailgate fed.

There will be 3 of us again this Saturday: MyMama, Jon the Methodist and me. We will bring $60.
I'm looking forward to the espresso bean cups and the mimosas!
Is your mama gonna put caish in TNT's shorts? I missed the show last week.
Two lawgrads with green encouragement.

That was probably intended in the hot dog reference above...

Today's weather report isn't looking all that bad:
Cloudy and breezy with areas of drizzle and light rain, and perhaps a few heavier showers, especially north and east of Raleigh. Highs upper 60s north to mid 70s south.
If the heavier rain stays east of Raleigh, we should be okay. We are packing up the SUV and will be on the road by 06:00.

Y'all have fun today. We're staying put and watching the game on our Big-A TV.

I have a Rev who thinks he has strep and a sick hound. I will be in front of the TV and probably in Section 21.

It was a beautiful day in Wally Wade!!!! The fans were excited, loyal, and vocal ----- and very wet! It never stopped raining but never dampened spirits. At the end everybody was yelling "WE ARE DUKE!"
Love, Ima

Have you dried out yet from that "isn't looking all that bad" forecast where it rained for close to 3 hours when Weather Channel was predicting less than 10% chance of rain between noon and 3 PM?
I'll sit through that any Saturday, any month, any year for that kind of victory

The Green Clan is home, safe and dry! That was a great day of football. Wet but great.
