Yes, this is true. I did a Google search on addicting vs addictive in order to answer my own question. Because everything you read on the Internet is true, right?! In any event, I think I can now verbalize why 'addicting' bothers me (and, apparently, lots of other cranky old codgers like me): addictive is an adjective, and addicting is a verb. Many people are using addicting as an adjective, in place of addictive. It seems more prevalent in the younger generation, at least that is my perception.
Example sentences: Drinking coffee every morning is addicting me to caffeine. Caffeine is addictive. Annoying (to me) common usage would be to make the second sentence into, "Caffeine is addicting."
Most people say that is it is the intellect which makes a great scientist. They are wrong: it is character.

It is a good feeling when you take your dogs to the vet and he looks at Tyler and asks "what does this dog do...he is solid muscle'. Then goes all ga ga over the their teeth - especially Jester who is 10 and has beautifully white teeth. When you hear them in the back telling the other vets to 'put your hands on this poodle...what condition he is in!! you know you are doing something right.
Full compliment of vaccines on Tyler plus Lepto because he does retriever work. Jester has graduated to only rabies and this will be his last one (it is a 3 year shot - by the time he needs another one they will give him an age exemption)
He'd like to see Jester drop below 100 (he's 108) we did histology on his ears (Jester, like a lot of labs, is an ear infection on legs) - just yeast, no bacteria so my Zymox is the right thing. Adding their spray to Jester as he licks his feet..turns out that is yeast too. I appreciate a vet who doesn't try to sell me stuff or charge me to do things I can do myself. He looked up the spray on his phone on amazon...told me to get it there (it is where I get all my zymox stuff anyway). recommended osteoflex for Jester...said get it at Sams or Costco.
Also approve my use of Traumeel (t-relief) for both dogs.
All is well with the Puppers in my house. Wallet is a little lighter...but all is well

What's Traumeel?
A homeopathic pain killer/anti inflammatory. I am not huge into homeopathic stuff and whenever someone says it is all natural I suggest they chew on some foxglove or nightshade...and then you can talk to me about all natural
Is was recommended to me for my last foot injury (Level II Sprain of the midfoot) and I was quite impressed. Lots of dog people use it post exercise and for older dogs. it is also apparently safe for cats. Comes in tablet (dissolve in mouth don't swallow) , cream and drops. I have the tablets.

My guess is she is looking forward to this season? I'm happy that we are finally getting to a new TV season. I'm tired of reruns.

Rain is in the forecast for Friday and Saturday. I'm not going to the James Kenan and Duke games. I hate missing them both but at my age(74) I don't need to punish myself. Go JK!! Go Duke!!!!

CB&B tried to convince me there was a Duke-unc game on 9/18 at that time above when there were 57 users online. I called board shenanigans on that one
