Do you think it would be well received if I put it into the middle of some of the PPB discussions on DBR? (Not some of the current "hot" discussions - I'm finding them pretty informative. Some of the past discussions have just been confusing to me.)DukieInKansas wrote:Thank you. I love the pancake bunny.DukeUsul wrote:DukieInKansas wrote:

An acronym for Quoted for Emphasis, it's used to help drive a point home to someone who's fairly dimwitted. Also used when someone makes an exceedingly good point, and people want to make sure that it gets across. Usually seen used in internet forums.

Civet coffee is apparently very popular in Vietnam. They did an episode of Bizarre Foods that included it. The guy even went out into the jungle to help "collect" the beans.

I'm fine with either, just let me know. I've been missing my BBQ, but I'm ALWAYS up for a cheese steak. Kinda depends on DD. If he's planning on being there on Saturday for an early dinner at 4 before I head up to Tyler's, then I guess I'd rather get my BBQ. If he's not sure, then Sami's is fine with me. BTW, what kind of food does Tyler's have? I don't think I'll be wanting to have too much alcohol, since I'll still have a three hour drive in front of me. Even though I can take a LOT of alcohol thanks to my Irish blood and giant body, it DOES still make me drowsy.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:I posted another recommendation for Sami's in AllenMurray's new food thread over yonder.
Hey Bjorolf, would you rather eat lunch there next Friday rather than at Smithfield BBQ? Just a thought. Steak and cheese - ymm!![]()

I thought I would win friends if I put it after one of your posts - especially if you talk about Jimmy Carter.Shammrog wrote:I think you should let me do it since I am so well loved there.DukieInKansas wrote: Do you think it would be well received if I put it into the middle of some of the PPB discussions on DBR? BD would like to say that she loves it when Shammrog wildly misuses something but she's worried everybody will think she's just trying to start something up with Shammrog again and the rest of you might, just might, be getting tired of it, so, she will refrain.

Re: LTE 2.0
I'd be all over that if I could. I LOVE fishing. I've never been bass fishing. I've caught a few smaller ocean fish and a bunch of trout, though. I'd love to try.
I saw an interesting article over on Yahoo. Apparently, if you had a kid today, it would cost an estimated quarter of a million dollars to raise it to age 17. Ouch.

Well, that wouldn't work then. I'd sink us if I was your ballast. Try a giant cooler full of beer. ;)captmojo wrote:I need ballast (balance) in the front of the boat.
