No words can express the disappointment that Kelby is done playing football, but he is going to be on hand as a student assistant while he works to complete his program in the divinity school.

Terrible news for Kelby Brown who worked so hard to recover from multiple injuries during his career. We suddenly have a huge hole at middle linebacker. Zavier Carmichael is going to have to step up big time.

Two more career ending injuries - OT Kameron Schroeder and DE Michael Mann. I knew about Mann that info has been floating around for at least a week. Schroeder is a surprise.

Jela Duncan out indefinitely with a partial pectoral tear.
Shaun Wilson and Joe Ajeigbe limited with lower body injuries.
Nico Pierre transitioning from QB to RB.

It seems like we have not been able to catch a break these past two years. Jela is most likely out for the entire season if he has to have surgery. Hopefully Shaun and Joe are ready to go for Tulane.

Another injury from yesterday occurred with CB Bryon Fields. Cut says that Bryon will be out most of the preseason and that Alonzo Saxton is taking 1st team reps.

Having a RB that can throw isn't the worst person to have on the field. Could set up some fun plays.
