I also chose 3:30. It's perfect for those of us who travel.Bob Green wrote:Did any of y'all receive a fan survey from Duke football? One showed up in my email yesterday or the day before with one of the questions being preferred kickoff time. I answered 3:30 pm. I am sure we all agree 12:30 pm is too early, but while lots of folks like 6:00 pm or even 7:00 pm start times, I prefer late afternoon.
There was also a question, "How can your football game day experience be improved" or something along those lines, that allowed you to type in a detailed response. I told them to turn down the volume on the damn video scoreboard during timeouts and between plays, etc...

Re: Psyched for the upcoming fooball season
We got one which is funny cuz we can't get to more than one game a season! I too suggested 3:30, mentioned the growing parking issues & encouraged them to continue arrange for TV coverage for all the games so we can enjoy the rest of the season! Where's MINE!? I'd LOVE to voice my opinion.......even though they're just trying to placate us. We all know TV makes all the decisions.

I didn't get a survey.
I think that Duke is trying to break up with me.

Agreed! How far along is the press box going to be for this year? Will the coaches be calling the games from scaffolding, or perched atop a flag pole?OZZIE4DUKE wrote:May the stands be that full of Duke fans!Bob Green wrote:Here is a nice representation of the stadium renovation project:

It's 99 degrees here today. I wonder what the temp is in Wallace Wade.

What's the plan for the press box? There's no way they'll have a whole building there in two months.

You and Tim need to bring 2 extra tents and they'll put them on top of some large, portable storage units .CameronBornAndBred wrote:What's the plan for the press box? There's no way they'll have a whole building there in two months.
