Last season the team made the final before losing as Kathleen scored more points than any other player in the league. With many of the players locally based, the team roster does not change that much each season as it now has three former San Diego players with returnees Izzy Chilcott and Klara Wischer and newcomer Amy Kame, who has not reported to the team yet after just finishing her European season. On Thursday, Daniel Ewing and LeMans Sarthe tried to extend their season at home in Game 3 of the semifinals, but the fight that they showed in Strasbourg was not there in the second half of this game as their season ended with an 85-72 loss. Daniel had 11 points in 31 minutes. Mouphtaou Yarou had 10 points. In the win, Tadija Dragicevic had 21 points. Daniel returned to France with a new team under one of his former coaches as an injury created a hole in their backcourt. He had a solid season both coming off the bench as the sixth man and entering the starting lineup during crunch time at the end of the season with the team making extended postseason runs both domestically and continentally before falling short.
