I hope we don't see anything like this come tailgate season. This picture was taken from the International Space Station. The Supertyphoon just swept across Micronesia and is bearing down on the Philippines:

It is not an April Fools Day joke. Here is some standard weather satellite imagery (dated 2 April) that shows how massive the storm is as it approaches the Philippines:
