Visiting Durham in February!
I'm coming down to Durham to see my parents over the kids February break. I'm bringing the youngest two down with me. Since Mom and Dad both had health issues this fall, I promised them a trip. I don't usually like to travel in the winter, not that I wouldn't mind a break from the snow, but actually getting out of town can be hellish.
Anyway, we are getting in on the 18th. I thought I'd try to drive by campus and soak in the atmosphere. We will be around until the 22nd - so, if you hear of anybody who for some reason doesn't want their Clemson game tickets, let me know! Putting out all my feelers. Fingers crossed.

Well, mattman91, fuse and I are planning to meet in Raleigh about 5pm or so at one of the microbreweries if you're inclined toward that sort of meeting.Bostondevil wrote:I'm coming down to Durham to see my parents over the kids February break. Do you mean for the Carolina game? We're not landing until 6pm, so probably not.

No, mattman is coming to Raleigh from Asheville on 2/19 for a concert with his girlfriend. I think they'll arrive in Durham about 1 PM, tour the Lemur Center and get to Raleigh about 5 for dinner, a pint and a concert at 7 PM.Bostondevil wrote:Do you mean for the Carolina game? Sadly, due to weather concerns, both here and in NC, we are postponing our trip. Not sure when we're coming down. Sometime later this spring - TBD.
