Good catch Windsor. China and a few other Asian leagues play 48 minute games as opposed to 40 minute games elsewhere. There is also greater talent disparity within the teams in China than in Europe, where the elite teams have little difference in spots 1-10. The Chinese league is driven by two or three stars per team.

Interesting...so China has NBA length games. Do they do quarters as well? Thanks for the explanation - I have learned something today (always a goal!)

With two more players making their season debuts over the weekend, all former Duke players who transferred to other schools that are expected to play professionally this season have made their debuts. While their games are not usually covered here in detail, their careers are periodically updated. Eric Boateng just started his season in France's third division with Mulhouse. Olek Czyz, who battled injury issues that prevented him from playing in Italy again, returned to Poland to play for Turow. Two other players have already had solid starts to their season as Taylor King is one of the leading player for the Cheshire Phoenix in the British Basketball League and Jamal Boykin is a solid contributor off the bench for a Gottingen team defying early expectations in Germany.

As mentioned earlier, Chelsea Hopkins is playing in Israel again with Bnot Herzliya.

Two other players will not be the subject of future updates. Josh Hairston suffered an ankle injury in his last game that ruled him out for the rest of the season. He has already returned to the United States and his team has already signed a replacement. Josh had been consistently delivering solid performances in his first professional season, keeping his team in the playoff picture, but he will now have to wait for next season to return to the court. Nick Horvath only signed to play in Australia on a short term basis and has opted to stay in New Zealand to continue his full time teaching job after his school break finished. His team looks likely to miss the playoffs, so he able to return without causing much disruption, but updates will resume if suits up for the team again. He is set to return to action later in the year when the local league in New Zealand starts and his games will be updated again.
