Which former ACC ref was the worst?

Given the news today, who now is the worst ref in ACC history?

In all honesty, It took everything I had not to put a fifth category "ALL OF THE ABOVE."

Great poll. I vote Lenny...he was the first worst for me, the one I grew up with, and honestly, he set the bar pretty high.

I believe I was at the first game with this chant. It occurred after Coach K requested that the Crazies deep-six the "You suck, Dick" chant.

Oh, and I failed to mention that I came up with the suckiest refs list before I saw the options proposed by Lavabe. Great minds think alike???

I WENT WITH Dr Karl Hess also. Lenny is deceased. RIP Lenny. And Dick is a Hall of Fame Referee.......
So many people, coaches, fans, players dispise Karl Hess and his little quirky run and his holier than thou attitude!

Sorry, but HOF status does not exclude Dick from being a lousy ref. He sucked.

In my reply on the other thread, I mentioned that Hess and Luckie reffed the same game in one of Wake's victories over Duke (including the unbelievable double technical on Paul and Ewing). That got me to wondering:

WHAT's Duke's record like when two of the three worst refs called the same game?

I mean, didn't Dick & Wirtz call a few games together? Or Dick & Hess?

Ray Natili was injured during the Baylor TCU game yesterday.

As I was told today, it doesn't look good. They will know tommorrow.

Ref Les Jones is out for a year with bone spurs and sciatica nerve.

And Dr Karl Hess is out of the ACC league. The ACC will have to reload into the ref pool of officials.
