Jeremy Cash Press Conference 1:30

Duke announced that Coach Cutcliffe and Jeremy Cash will be having a press conference at 1:30. As many people I follow have said, you do not have a press conference to tell people that you are staying.

This is awful news for the 2015 team. Cash would have been one of the best defensive players in the country in 2015. Losing him will hurt our defense, and we will lose a very talented player.

I will be a little surprised if he actually decides to leave. He is projected as a 3-5 round pick, and most guys in that range are told to stay in school for another year. If he does decide to leave, I wish him the best. He has had an amazing run at Duke and should make a very good pro with his athletic ability.

Herald Sun, Duke Beat Writer, Stephan Wiseman is reporting that Jeremy Cash is expected to announce he is STAYING.

Interesting that he will hold a press conference for it..but awesome if true!

So excited that our most talented player will be coming back!!

He could be the leader of one of the best defenses in the ACC if healthy.

I am excited about the same thing! David Helton was an amazing player, but he never had the knack for creating turnovers and getting into the backfield the way Kelby does. With an experienced secondary, Coach Knowles should be able to take a lot of chances by blitzing Brown and Cash. It should be a fun defense to watch, especially if some of the young guys on the line perform well.
