Was so sad when I saw this. I loved watching him on Sports Center back in the day. Prayers for his family. May he rest in peace.

I heard Stuart Scott's acceptance speach last Summer during the ESPY awards. It was heaertfelt by all that heard his speech.

Mr Scott is no longer suffering. Prayers and vibes for his family, friends, and loved ones, and especially his two daughters. Cancer is a nasty disease.

RIP Mr Scott. He was one of the good unc alumni, that did great in his career and with his college degree.

He was a very nice guy. I got to meet him when he did a feature for ESPN 2 ("The Deuce" back then) on the club football programs. By league rules, alums are allowed to play, so, after doing his interviews, he suited up and played receiver for Carolina against us with the cameras rolling. Anyway, it was a lot of fun to "play on tv" against him. He told us when it would air, and I recorded it. I still have the tape somewhere. I still remember him getting in a heated argument with the ref when he was called out of bounds on a sideline catch. He showed the tape on the Deuce and claimed he was robbed, but the tape conveniently failed to show his feet. Great stuff. Good dude.

Didn't we discuss playing club football several years ago?!!! Btw, the alumni that played for us were former varsity football players. Glad they didn't hit me! :9f:

WRAL did a good feature on Stuart last night.

At the Unc game last night, the Students had "STU" signs as a great tribute .

Yea, we have. I had the experience of playing for both.
