Not a lot is going on. Bud went Sat. and came back Mon. He spoke with the the lung rehap doc, he ask him what are the chances of her coming off the vent. He said less than 50%. Bud ask how much less. The doc said less than 10%. It's up to her children what steps to take. She has been through so much and the way it appears to us is not likely to change. It's sad. There is no quality of life. It's sad.

I spoke with mom earlier, and have been in touch with my cousin, Cheryl. Cheryl and her brothers have decided to take aunt Alma off the ventilator. It's really tough, but the right decision.

It certainly sounds like the right decision, but such a difficult one. Sending positive thoughts to the entire family.
