"Good point by you!!"

Post by Lavabe » December 19th, 2014, 9:39 am

Thanks to Jahlil for his performance AFTER the game last night. As my wife and I watched the postgame ESPN interview, we were stunned when the host asked Jahlil if the game last night felt like a tournament game. My immediate response when I heard the question was: ESPN announcer dude... this is a freshman! Sure enough, the response was measured, polite, and well, ...WELL DONE!!

Still smiling and applauding!!
"Fair enough! Good point by you!!"

Last night was the first game that K has lit into the team. Another experience that each freshmen gets to enjoy as a first. ;)
Duke played 380 minutes, 41 seconds of basketball before the Blue Devils met their maker.

He asked the official if he might use one of his timeouts, while simultaneously jabbing at the air as if the oxygen had done something truly offensive, before turning what would make a withering glare wither toward his players.

make a withering glare wither..... =)) =)) =)) =)) =))

Really happy to see Jon Scheyer in the background as K lit into the team.

That interviewer was extremely unprepared. He didn't know his subject very well, did he? JAH handled him like a pro.
