I know nothing about the KU FB team but I like that line. I'd even be happy if we didn't "cover" (just like we didn't against Troy ;) ) that and only won by 19 .

Coach Cutcliffe's early thoughts on Kansas: A spread/read option team that can really run the football. A veteran team that is big, physical and fast with a quarterback who is difficult to contain. A lot of speed on defense.

We had a couple of defensive linemen injured in the Troy game. Jamal Bruce (91) and Jamal Wallace (95) were rolled up on their lower legs. Most likely nothing major but it is too early to say. The team will know more on Tuesday. Of course, we the general public will not know more until Thursday when the injury report is released.

I'm not expert on this Kansas team, but they are playing with a new quarterback. And they are without their top two running backs who were both hurt in training camp. This Kansas team went 2-10 last year and one of those losses was to Rice.

I figured the line would be similar to the Troy game and I would not be surprised if the game goes the same way.

Agreed. I am still worried about our defensive line and our DB's ability to tackle. We have some small guys in our secondary other than Cash.

I just hope the KU coach, "Cheeseburger" Charlie Weiss, doesn't eat any of our DB .

Agreed, we need more out of our Defense but I don't see Kansas slowing down Duke's offense especially if Boone is making good decisions. This would be a great game for our ball-hawks like Edwards to have a field day with their young QB.

Uniform set for tomorrow's game. I might be wrong, but this looks like the first time we have worn ALL blue in Cutcliffe's time here at Duke. I like the look, and it seems like they will be attempting to wear a different combination for almost every game.
