That's correct: black helmets, white jerseys, white pants per a Duke_FB Tweet.

I could be wrong, but I am pretty certain this is the first time we've worn that combination. We usually wear all white with blue helmets. Not that it matters, but it looks like a pretty awesome combination. And the new black helmets are pretty cool.

This black helmet might be pretty awesome/intimidating, especially if it had a big Iron Duke decal on it:

I was very impressed with how the team responded to adversity early in the game. When Troy made it 14-3 I figured this game was going to be decided in the 4th quarter. It seemed very similar to the Memphis game from last year early on. The defense looked awful on Troy's first two possessions. But Anthony Boone looked as confident as can be when he strolled for a 30 yard TD run to spark the offense. And a big stop on 4th and 1 for our defense really changed the game. Being able to score 3 touchdown's in a matter of 8 minutes was very impressive. I thought they would win by 21, but I think that 17 will suffice.

I agree with this statement and said the same thing in chat last night. The two sacks by JDO were also huge.

Anthony Boone has looked good through two games as well. Last season he seemed to focus in on Jamison Crowder, while so far this season he is spreading the ball around. Blakeney is living up to preseason camp hype so far. He torched Troy straight down the middle on that TD reception. It will be huge moving forward to have two legitimate deep threats on the field simultaneously.

Especially a 6'6" dude whose hands have improved very nicely over his career. BTW, to further prove your point, we had 10 guys (no typo) who caught passes last PM. That's impressive.
