Figures the weather in VB would be rough, since we are headed Bob's way. CA's conference at the Sheraton Oceanfront Sun-Wed. Bob's tax dollars at work!

There is a steady rain falling in Tidewater so be careful driving up.

Current forecast has Tropical Storm Bertha, currently east of the Bahamas, staying well out to sea:

Bertha didn't squat her first chance, and now she won't even touch us her second try. See ya down the road in a few years, lady. Maybe third time will be her charm.

Excuuuuse me! In July 1996 Bertha's eye went through Greenville and Kinston, and her winds blew down a 100 ft. tall pine tree that fell in my yard in Smithfield, breaking a window on the side of my house. It also took out a 10' length of chain link fence that it fell on. Plus, it saturated the ground, setting us up for Fran's devastation in early September. Bertha is not welcome back.
