Much as I love it, I would NOT wear it to court.

You may not want to wear your "I'd rather be in Cameron t-shirt" to court as well. ;)

Especially if you are in the western part of Missouri - there is a prison in Cameron.

I was excited to see that the woman with the Popeye/this is my party/you're not just a cup, you're my friend shirts will be in court Thursday afternoon. I will keep you posted on her sartorial choices, and also whether her case worker (who has magenta hair in the front and kind of mouse brown in back) is with her.

I forgot to update this. Crazy T-shirt lady had on a black T-shirt with a picture of what can only be described as a Blood, complete with throwing gang signs, a bandanna and five-pointed gang star. Her case worker had on a spaghetti strap top that did not cover the tattoo on her upper breast.

I also got to see T-shirt lady on a confession video, but she was wearing jail oranges. I guess orange really is the new black.

Much as I love it, I would NOT wear it to court.

I would not wear ANY t-shirt to court EVER. I wear business attire to court. I got a traffic ticket tossed because I was in a suit. Seriously. Judge bounced the firsts 8 or 9 people on the docket for inappropriate attire - then they called me and I was in a business suit. He asked me about the ticket and I apologized for wasting the courts time - I had forgotten to send the $$ in so I had to show up. Told him I was not paying attention and was in fact speeding. After the picked him off the floor he looked at me and said "a person who knows how to show the court proper respect AND is honest..." threw out the ticket and the court costs. The next guy was in cutoffs and flip flops and stood up and asked for another court date so he could come properly dressed.

I wish one of our judges would do this so that I wouldn't have to see all of the idiotic clothing our idiotic courtroom clientele wear to court.

Our dress code at work just opened up the possibility of wearing shorts. Most of the old timers were not amused. I've worked in places that allow it and others that didn't. As for me, except for a very rare exception, I don't partake.
