They gave him some "Special K" in the ER and popped it right back. He said it was a wild ride! He's wearing a big ol' brace now until he sees whether the old replacement needs a new replacement or whether it can be repaired. It gives him a welcome sense of security even if it Is a hassle.

So take us off your worry list ---- at least for now until we get ourselves into yet ANOTHER mess! Sometimes I think we just aren't livin' right or something!

Ima, was the OP's hip recalled? One of our bailiffs is awaiting a second replacement, after discovering his previous hip is under a recall.

Not a recall. This one was done over 20 years ago, so he's gotten a LOT of mileage out of it. It has just gotten too loosey goosey.

Oh, gotcha. I had a friend wear out his fake hip and had to get a replacement for his replacement. That was 10 years ago.
