Just not at Duke. It's interesting that Chris Hipps has chosen to leave for another school to play football, although he hasn't played the sport in 4 years. Maybe there is a grad program at SMU that better fits his long term plans. He'll have competition on his new field too, so I wouldn't expect to see tons of him regardless where he plays, but receiver is one of those positions that more is never a bad option to have.

While some of the details are a bit different than what Chris is doing, Cooper Helfelt made good use of the opportunity to switch back to football. Today Cooper continues to be on the practice squad for the Seattle Seahawks.
