Requesting vibes and prayers for Max

Sooooo, it took 20 days, but Duke repeated mono testing and it came back positive. Crazy! What a relief. His girlfriend should be fine. She had a much milder case of mono last year and should have sufficient antibodies to fight it. Whew. We are so relieved. Max still feels like crap, but should start turning the corner soon.

Not sure but I think this is probably the first time that I've been really glad to hear the diagnosis of Mono! Vibes for some quick healing Max!

Viruses like mono and some of other sneaky bugs can elude even the best diagnosticians. So glad there is a diagnosis so treatment and recovery can begin!

I am a happy grandmother but will be happier when Max starts feeling better. CTN vibes and prayers are the best!!!

No way Max could have gotten mono from Lauren. She had it just after they met, a year ago. It's hard telling how he got exposed.

No way Max could have gotten mono from Lauren. She had it just after they met, a year ago. It's hard telling how he got exposed.

I figured one could not get mono after someone had had it and was no longer contagious, but just wanted to check.

Yippee, Max has turned the corner!! His appetite is much better and he feels so much better. He is going to school for a 1/2 day Monday and see how it goes from there. He's happy and so are we. Thanks again for the vibes and prayers. They are the best.
