Still sitting in the waiting room. The last update, 20 minutes or so ago, was that he was still in surgery.

Re: LTE 2.0
Sending vibes for Christian, his sister and lawgrad! Hope the surgery went well. So glad Tilly was able to stop by.
Found out yesterday that one of my high school classmates passed away of either a heart attack or a stroke. So young. I had recently gotten reacquainted with her on Facebook and was really looking forward to seeing her at our 30 year reunion this summer. Sending lots of thoughts and prayers to her husband, son and mom.
Went to TAMU yesterday for my cousin's PhD defense. She rocked it. She successfully employed the strategy of getting her committee members debating amongst themselves. That's the way to go. All you have to do is nod and smile. She was finished in something like 45 min.
Two funnies from the closed-door part of the defense (just her and her committee members):
1. The crankiest member of her committee said, "Do you know what my problem is with this whole thing?" (At this point she's thinking, "Oh, S***") She says, "Uh, no..." His response, "The figures are too small!" She quickly said, "We can fix that!"
2. About halfway through the closed door part, cranky committee member #2 leans over to her advisor and whispers, "I'd better start asking her some questions so she'll think she's actually done something." (apparently he thought she was handling the questions too well)

Is that the one whose pic you posted on FB? Cool! Glad she did so well.ArkieDukie wrote:Went to TAMU yesterday for my cousin's PhD defense. She rocked it. I believe the scientific term for what Boeheim did to get ejected was: WENT APE SHIT.

Digger thought it was the right call
Love the ESPN commentary during Colorado Zona half time:
it is inexcusable to end a game with two technical fouls at the end of game
they also showed the foul on Hood @ Syracuse and called that BS.

I would love someone less lazy than I and more computer savvy to take the running pic of Boeheim and use this as a backdrop.

What goes around...
And, even through my Pantome 287 tinted lenses, I thought it was the right call.
Then, JB had the audacity to say he thought it was "the worst call of the year." Apparently he missed the attempted Hood dunk at the end of the first Duke-Cuse game AND the completely bullshit intention foul on Dre first half of this game as he fouled a guy going to the basket.

Re: LTE 2.0
Before that was, "F*** you, ref!" Read his lips when they showed the replay. And he's saying that the call cost Syracuse the game. At least one of his players recognizes where the real blame lies, though. Fair said that Boeheim's actions cost them the game. Good thing someone on their team recognizes the facts.YmoBeThere wrote:BS is exactly what Boeheim was yelling at the ref. Well, "that's bullshit".
