Duke at Carolina

My keys to the game:

1. Neutralize Paige - Carolina goes as Paige goes
2. Pound the glass
3. Shoot > 40% on 3 PT FGs

Who gets the assignment on Paige?
[redacted] them and the horses they rode in on.

The way we switch on screens, the assignment will be shared by multiple players. Another factor is the line-up on the court for Carolina. When Paige and Britt are on the court, Cook will primarily be on Britt with Sulaimon on Paige. When Paige and McDonald are on the court, Cook will have Paige and Sulaimon will be on McDonald. I'm absolutely positive Thornton will cover (foul) Paige a couple of times.

I'm happy that our game last night was not a nail biter, hopefully we will be more fresh and alive heading into Thursday's game.

That was my thought also.
My good friend was at the Ga Tech game, sitting behind the Duke bench. I said, I am glad this game isn't a nail biter like the Maryland game. And the team isn't under the mental stress like the MD game!!!! I am sure by the end of the game, shower, travel over to Atlanta airport, board the charter plane, fly to RDU, bus over to Duke, and back to their dorm or apartments. It would be 4am.

Our boys need some rest! Thursday Night will be a Big Game, and so will Saturday evening!!!

Let's Go Duke!!!!

I follow "carolina meltdown" on Twitter. My favorite post regarding the game was something to the effect of: "The refs called more fouls on us because they know we can't hit FTs and they were trying to help dook." So, they were 20/31 and we were 7/12 because the refs were trying to help us? Refs, in the future, please try to refrain from helping us quite that much.

Stupidity. There is no substitute.
