Loads and loads of fun. That team looked like the early season Devils we all enjoyed so much. :happy-bouncyblue: :9f:

It was a special day. At halftime, the 1964 and 1989 Final Four Teams were recognized followed by the entire football and staff assembled on the court to be honored as the Coastal Division Champions. ;;)

When we first got to the game, I was behind 2 young men in gray sweatsuits at the concession stand. Then I noticed the Chick-Fil-A patch on their jackets. I tapped one on the shoulder and asked if they were on the football team. He said "yes ma'am." So I told him thank you for this year and how much fun we had cheering for them and following their journey. He hugged me!! Made my day!!
And then we watched that very fun game!!

While I totally enjoyed watching the "real Duke BB team" play yesterday, what a fun day it would've been to be in CIS - ex-Prez Bush, our beloved football team and final four teams from years past! How exciting! Native the crazies were on spot too! WTG Everyone! :ymhug: :happy-bouncyblue:

Loved seeing the video that Kelby and Kyler's mom posted of the team being recognized at halftime.

Yes, tonight was fun. Even with the Miami refs. Where is the "throw up simile"? I just wish we had a better inside game. :duke:

YAY!

Not only did we win, but I also saw one of my Phi Psi friends sitting right behind the Duke bench.

Nice. But Quin has GOT to get his head on straight. :-ss He gets way too full of himself. The rest of the team is maturing rapidly but I don't see a lot of growth in him, bless his heart.

I don't think Jabari's rimdangle merited a T when much worse ones are so often overlooked. There was activity beneath him and he didn't swing on purpose or pull his knees up or anything.

I got the feeling last night that Jabari is taking the leadership role we need. He was more alert, aware and encouraging to team mates. It must be hard for a freshman, no matter how good he is, to assume that role on a team so full of other leaders.
Love, Ima

My complaint is that you don't hang on the rim after you miss a dunk. You hang your head in shame!
