While I agree with you Coach Cutcliffe is running a clean program and that he will continue to run a clean program, this suspension was executed by the university not the football program. Duncan is being booted for cheating, plagiarism or something along those lines.
I wish him the best of luck and really hope to see him back at Duke continuing his education and running the football! The good news (if there is any such thing as good news surrounding this situation) is Duncan did not red shirt so he can sit out 2014 season and still have two years of eligibility left.
It is time for Josh Snead and Shaq Powell to step up and be ready for an increased workload running the ball.

Hell, Duncan will miss more games than old McDonald did over at eww-n-c. But at least not as many as PJ.

A&M leading tackler Darian Claiborne has been arrested for possession of a dangerous drug and possession of marijuana:

He will miss the Chick-fil-A Bowl. This is a big deal as the A&M defense is truly bad so losing their leading tackler hurts.

Ooooh, all the more reason I would love to have Jela out there on the field.

In other football news, it was announced last week UNC offensive coordinator Blake Anderson accepted the Head Coach position at Arkansas State so Fedora is losing the coordinator from his one unit that functions - offense. Now it is rumored, Anderson might be taking Walt Bell with him. Bell is the TE Coach and Recruiting Coordinator. Carolina is counter offering to keep Bell on the staff.

I saw on Twitter today where Brandon Connette was in Atlanta. Steve Wiseman (@SteveWisemanNC) said Mama Connette had been moved out of ICU to a regular room. Continued vibes and prayers for the Connettes. They have a long tough road ahead of them.

Connette has decided to play in the bowl game after spending the last week in California at his mother's bedside following emergency brain surgery. Boone ended up packing up Connette's belongings and bringing them with him to Atlanta just in case Connette decided to rejoin his teammates.

Works for me. We are going to put points up, a lot of them. I have no doubt about that. I trust in our defense to keep their points limited to a number less than ours.
