He started out at third in the finalists. Some others must be really voting lots! We can do this! ;;)

Don't worry about if he is 1st or 10th. The other coaches have insanely large fan bases, so for Cut to even be in the middle is pretty impressive. :D

I like what David Jones had to say about Coach Cut: "[Auburn Coach Gus] Malzahn took a garage floor strewn with Ferrari parts and he built a Ferrari. Cutcliffe took a pile of rubber bands, duct tape, fiberboard and a 55-gallon diesel drum and he built a car."

Duke head coach David Cutcliffe was named Sporting News National Coach of the Year alongside Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn, the publication announced Friday.
