Re: All-ACC Team
Congratulations to all 11! A new school record. And Ross Martin made honorable mention honors!
Best comment OY - someone said "color me stunned" on who and how many made the all ACC team.

Re: All-ACC Team
When was the last time Duke had a football player make All ACC in two different positions the same season?

Woo hoo!
If I look at this list through my Duke blue glasses, I wonder why Kenny Anunike is second team. Seems to me as though he should be first team - but hey, what do I know.

Would have loved to see Dave Harding at least grab an honorable mention spot. Guy has been great this year and has really been the leader of the O-Line.
We all need to pay VERY close attention to Jeremy Cash and the rest of his career. This guy is a 1st-Team player as a Sophomore and still has 2 years left playing in this defense. I won't be surprised if he goes down as one of the best defensive players in recent era here at Duke.
Overall, an amazing accomplishment for this program to have so many guys selected.

You beat me to it regarding Dave Harding. He's my most favorite player. I know he's a very large part of the heart of this team. One of the first to buy into Cutcliffe's promise of success. A good student, a good citizen of the world. A good person. It's hard to imagine a sweetheart like him with that baby face being mean enough to play the OL!!!! My hat's off to you, Dave.wolfpackdevil wrote:Would have loved to see Dave Harding at least grab an honorable mention spot. Guy has been great this year and has really been the leader of the O-Line.

Re: All-ACC Team
Dave Harding and Perry Simmons are two big losses off the O-Line who will be tough to replace for next season. I am more worried about replacing Simmons at RT. At LG, Lucas Patrick and Cody Robinson have seen lots of snaps this season and either one is capable of stepping into the starting role in place of Harding. Unfortunately, things are less clear cut at RT. Tanner Stone missed the whole season due to the broken ankle and has never played a single snap in college. He could still earn the starters role, but he would be being thrown into the briar patch with no experience. A trial by fire scenario for sure. It is also possible that either Patrick or Robinson change position from guard to tackle or it is possibly someone else steps up such as Carson Ginn, Casey Blaser or Sterling Korona.
The O-Line has been a huge strength the year and I fully expect it will be again next year; however, replacing Perry Simmons at right tackle is a concern or at the very least it is an unknown.
