Well, well, well, look who's back on the schedule! And coming into Wallace Wade at that! This should be a real treat. A surging, healthy Duke hosting a broken, beaten State. I'm sure, just like a wounded animal, they'll be dangerous but, this Duke team is different and, I no longer fear any of the remaining teams on our schedule.

So, with the Pack coming to Our House and, with the luxury of a 16:00 KO, we've decided that our tailgate should representative the finest of NCSU traditions (No, Chris! Not the cursing at the visiting teams' fans!)- We're gonna roast a whole pig! We will, of course, have all the old stand-bys along with a few new entries- details below.

Weather is looking righteous with mostly clear skies and a high of 18 (64F). Should be fantastic day for defeating the Wolfpack! Speaking of which, I'm not sure how the Pack Fans will deal this game but, you'd be well-advised to plan for heavy traffic.

I must give credit where credit is due.

Sam was the driving force behind getting me to my first Duke football game (when he was only 10 or 11), was the one who convinced us to buy season tickets, is a more loyal fan, goes to more tailgates, knows more about the game, insists we arrive early, insists we stay for the whole game irrespective of score, has better hair, and is better looking. There are few tings I can rag him about so I have to take advantage of it when I can!

Dpslaw + 3 or 4. In addition to Tom, my friend, Jack, and his wife, Lynn, will be joining us. Their son, Joseph, may come along as well. Lynn is a State alum, so be nice to her.

I'll bring hot dog buns--both footlong and regular--and Lynn is bringing a side dish of some sort. We'll also kick in bucks to the kitty (piggy?). I'm not yet sure what sort of beer we'll bring, but I'm thinking maybe Foothills Sexual Chocolate and/or Anchor Christmas.

Looking forward to the game Saturday. 4pm is about the best kickoff time slot, and how cool is it for Duke to be favored vs. State for a change?? I'm feeling quite giddy in this 6 and 2 atmosphere, so reel me in if need be!
