Another day that I totally missed morning on the computer - Old Ref had to head to the fishing store to "pick up" a few things for his trip to Canada next week and get new line on the reels -- tell me why you need 6 reels and bezillion colors of jigs? Took a bank loan and a trailer to get home from there! Men are boys sometimes!

The Rev Lawgrad went on a fishing kick for a while earlier this year. His eyes glazed over, we had to drive to BFE for a pole that he found on Craigslist that looked like every other fishing pole I had ever seen, the stepkid, her boyfriend Nick and I had to buy him fishing stuff for Fathers Day, etc. Lately it's been too hot for the fish to bite (at least that's what I've been told) and so he hasn't fished.

His fishing buddy Sam's wife makes homemade Amish friendship bread, and I told him as long as he came home with bread, he could fish anytime he wanted to.
