VDB, have you gotten any food into Jim yet? Can you get him to drink Ensure? At least that would be something. How is he today? How are YOU and BUD today?

Bud goes to Jim's when he can in the mornings and takes him to breakfast. That's Jim's favorite meal. He is eating some. I got him a container of Whay, which has lots of protein and calories. doctor's recommendation. I have finally convinced Jim to drink it. He does like it. He was given Ensure in the hospital, warm. He hated it. I'll do my best to get him over here for dinner tomorrow. We couldn't see him today. We went to closing of baseball camp and took Max home. We always enjoy going to Kenansville. Dawn and Mark cooked a great dinner. We went to the rest home to visit Anne, Mark's mom. They only have 6 patients. It is a wonderful setting. Bud and I are good. Too darn busy for "retired" people. We are going to try and go the lake this weekend. Hugs to you. :ymhug:

Thanks Cathy. I need them.

Jim may be turning the corner. He felt much better today. We took him to dinner and he ate a far amount. He also did a few other "normal" things. CTN vibes are working. Thank you all so much.

I'm sending more vibes and prayers for Jim: the "I want to go to Coldstone Creamery for a huge chocolate chip cookie oh-no-you-doughn't concoction" kind of vibes. I'm hoping that Jim's appetite continues to rebound.

AD - you might want to intercept those vibes. I don't think it is on Jim's diet.

Vibes continue for Jim and all his caregivers.

Thanks for all the great prayers and vibes. Jim is continuing to feel better. He was taken off a couple of meds. This seems to have done the most for him. His doc told him to eat anything he wants for now to help him gain weight. Wish I could give him my extra. I'm hoping he will come to dinner tonight.

If you can figure out a way to do it, I can give him some of mine, also.
