So I was reading the comments beneath the ACC Blog on ESPN (sometimes I can't help myself) and ran across this gem:
Pitt rhymes with Shit!
Of course on ESPN they had to spell it S**t, but here in the land of the enlightened we can let it rip.

Any word leaking out on when season tickets will be shipped? To temporarily satisfy my Obsessive-Compulsive personality disorder, I looked back at posts from last year and determined I received my tickets on August 21. However, when I purchased my tickets back in April, I asked when they would be shipped this year and the ticket office assured me tickets would be in the mail in early August.

Speaking of OCD, I checked the extended forecast at the N&O and it is predicted to be 84 degrees with sunshine on August 31st. Everyone definitely needs to remember their sunblock for the season opener.
What's the over/under on how many times I check the weather over the next 20 days?

Between now and the 24th, it's 13. For the last 7 days, it's 20, with 5 of them on Friday!

For our first tailgate, Tom is bringing a new "beer" to share--Founders Mango Magnifico con Calor (magnificent mango with heat). This is a fruit/vegetable beer brewed with mangos and habanero. I told him I would bring some beer to wash it down!

That sounds very interesting. I generally don't like pepper beers but if you bring a good IPA or DIPA that would quench the heat with hops and a high ABV, I'll sample a few ounces of almost any craft brew.
[redacted] them and the horses they rode in on.
