Glad Bud will be there when Jim starts to wake up. That will be huge. Keep us posted. You are doing good.

Thanks so much, all of you. The vibes are working. Jim's bleeding has stopped, chest tube (drain) gone. He had a little chicken broth this morning. He has a way to go before he can be moved out of icu but he is improving. He slept most of the time I was there. Thats a good thing. He did ask me about the grass. (Jim has been cutting it since Bud has been working) I told him it was covered, not to worry or think about it. That was funny to me. Bud will be going tomorrow. I'm headed to the lake in the morning to meet the Direct TV guy for an upgrade. I was supposed to do it last week but changed the appointment.

I was hoping that Alamance Regional Medical Center would merge with Duke Hospital, instead of Moses Cone. Kernolde Clinic merged with Duke in 2010 (or it was in the works then).......... All of the 3 Kernodle men where from Alamance County, and graduated from Duke University. My Mother grew up with the Kernodles and they were good friends.

How is your friend, Jim doing?

Jim was discharged Friday. He is here with Bud and I. He's eating better and progressing. He will be with us for at least 2 weeks. He is not smoking and understands the consequences if he does. We're praying.

Jim is struggling. His weight is now 138. He did weight about 170. He has no appetite. We are going all we can over here. His daughter is doing all she can. He need's cardiovascular rehab. We are pushing for him to begin. I think Bud will have to do it with him to get him started. It's been a struggle. We will not give up. :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Tough news to hear. We assumed he was getting all better!! Re-vibing has begun in earnest. I can't believe he's turning down the good eats from your garden! Good luck with the rehab, guys.
