I suspect there is a story there....
IIRC, I owe Bob a beer from a bet during MBB season. I'm going to make it a high gravity one at an early Brunchgate, pour him a generous serving and then let him spill the beans...

So I posted that in the wrong thread but seeing as it's the LTE thread I think it is okay.
Yeah, how would we keep LTE thread on point?

And I'd be interested to hear the story, too. :9f:

I think I'm safe in publishing his picture now. Yes, the tattoo on his cheek is what it appears to be.

No, the Slates do not represent him. Probably a good thing. :9f:

I didn't see a Cheek tattoo on PJ's mugshot!!!

What type of weather should I pack for? Warm? Cool? Sunny? Rainy?
I'm not sure what the forecast is. We didn't see much sun and the temp was cool - but not cold. Came back to Kansas to find the sun.

The Iowa road crews need to work on the procedure for changing the closed lane. Yesterday, we were approaching the spot where I-35 went to one lane - the right lane was to be open, when we noticed one of the workers in the right lane pointing us to go into the left lane. The flashing arrow sign had been pulled over but this guy was standing in the middle of the highway. Now we are driving at the head of a line of cars in the left lane and eventually catch up to the folks in front of us that are driving in the right lane. They must have wondered what was going one. We even passed some exits where the ongoming cars were being put into the right lane and those of us in the left lane couldn't easily exit. As we approached the end of the cones, there is another worker in the middle of the road finally closing the right lane. I hope the workers weren't hit by anyone.

Sam went longboarding this afternoon. He fell and hurt his wrist. After a trip to the emergency room, he called me and told me, "Mom, it's not broken. It's fractured." :-\

I'm going to get him tomorrow. I'm taking him to an orthopedist here in town on Monday.

For now, Sam's farming days are over.

I need prayers and vibes for safe travels to somewhere in the hills between Lenoir and Morganton (and back!) tomorrow.

2.0 is well over double the size of the original LTE.

If you start a sentence with a number, should the number be capitalized?

I guess you are supposed to type the number out as a word and not necessarily a number so yes you would? But then I've spent the afternoon contemplating if a tree falls in the woods, does it make a sound?
