If I win big, I will also create a CTN section at the Final Four. (Lavabe - this does not rule out the trip to France for Le Tour.)

The monster tornados that went through Texas, Kansas and Oklahoma are devasting. Flooding in areas of OK, also. Prayers and vibes for all those folks. :wizard:

This is devastating. I could not imagine being one of the parents of a still missing child from that school. May God be with them all and provide them strength.

I used all of my votes on Team Kellie Pickler ~ Derek Hough!!!! They were stunning, amazing and flawless in their chemistry together and their movements. In the free style, Kellie moved across the dance floor so fluid and weightless. It brought me to tears, as many in the audience, and it did Derek Hough, also.

I did not like the use of other dancers as props for the number that Karina and Val choreographed. And I found the use of the pole in Ally/Mark free style, took away from the Dancing element of the dance.

Although the judges were too liiberal with the 10s last night............... IMO, Kellie was the only one who deserved straight perfect scores last night. The others had bobbles but got perfect scores. The choreography of Derek Hough amazes me!!! He is so talented!! He also sings, acts, writes music, plays several musical instruments, etc.

Kellie Pickler, also is not a dancer in her singing career. She is just a natural talent!!! Go Kellie!!!

Continued prayers and vibes for the state of OK. And to the first responders for getting the kids from the school, and the folks from the hospital, and all the areas in OK.

Karma paid another visit today. Road Runner was asked to contribute a chapter to a book, and she asked BarMinion and I to be coauthors. :happy-bouncyblue: :happy-bouncyblue: :happy-bouncyblue:

How does karma enter into this? Well, you have all been privvy to the saga of how I ended up in my current job, and you probably remember that PH(former)B replaced me on a huge project with the oh-so-airheaded NuBarbie - after making me cancel a vacation I had been planning for several months in order to generate preliminary data and help write the grant. Not only that, but he put NuBarbie on a working group relating to my area of expertise in his lab (recall that NuBarbie, at her time of hire, had absolutely no experience in the field). I was left out in the cold, all because he was ticked at me about the infamous paper, and NuBarbie was placed on a committee with multiple prominent scientists in our field. She was too clueless to even recognize who she was working with on the committee. I was torn between being hurt at the omission and amused at the fact that NuBarbie's ignorance could not be reflecting well on PHB.

The subject of the book chapter? My area of expertise in PHB's lab. :ymdevil: Current count on book chapters relating to my area of expertise, coauthored with Road Runner and BarMinion, since leaving PHB's lab: 2. :ymdevil:
